NEUTRON STAR COLLISION

Description

I was searching,
You were on a mission,
Then our hearts combined like
A Neutron star collision

I have nothing left to lose,
You took your time to choose,
then we told each other, with no trace of fear that...

Our love, would be forever,
and if we die, we die together
lie, I said never,
'cause our love, would be forever

The world is broken,
Halos fail to glisten,
You try to make a difference but no one wants to listen

Hail, the preachers fake and proud,
Their doctrines will be cloud,
Then they'll dissipate
Like snowflakes in an ocean

Now, I've got nothing left to lose,
you take your time to choose,
I can tell you now without a trace of fear

That my love would be forever,
and we'll die, we'll die together,
I, I will never
'cause our love, would be forever.

Not linking the PV because although it shows pretty scenes of matt playing the piano, it's full of twairight D: but LISTEN TO THE SONG! It's absolutely beautiful, despite the corny lyrics [well matt did write it after breaking up with his girlfriend...]

ZOMG, MY 90TH DOLLIE DEVIATION. I like the number 90 <3

Anyway, this shoot is partly for the monochromatic theme for RA, but it's also for shout at the devil!'s [lol jasper's band] album, I'm going to edit it in a CD style layout...someday. When my workload lessens. D:

/boring storyline info - The blue roses are actually for Lindsay, because whenever she sees roses she always remarks how lovely it would be to have blue roses around, so jasper hand-dyed them and gave them to her on valentines day. 8D The blue roses signify a never ending quest for the impossible, something which is really important to Jasper because he hates letting the boundaries and obstacles around him stop him from who he wants to become, even when it's so tempting to just give up and stay stagnant.

Yeah. And I like rudyard kipling's poem a lot, so... ~.~

Jasper is a CP Lishe boy from eluts.com <3

Edit - PLEASE PLEASE CRITIQUE! Man I'm not good at any of these stuff, this is my first time attempting a monochromatic picture, are there too many shades of blue/too little/weird focusing or whatever? If you have any comments on how to improve it, please share, thanks in advance! <33

I stumbled across this image when check out the #Resin-Aperture "Monochrome Challenge" . . . . . I don't do critique's often but this image is just stunning . . . . and after spending hours tonight trying to do a monochromatic image myself I've realised how hard they are to do.

The composition and the focus are what grabbed me initially. The doll takes up over half the image yet the other elements in the photo are still just as intriguing and important. Nothing seems to dominate in this picture and take away from other aspects. The blues are just wonderful and it all works perfectly. I like the angle that the guitar is placing creating that small amount of blur at the back because of the perspective. The smaller flowers in between the roses are perfectly placed to break up the bulkiness of the roses themselves which otherwise, would have made that part of the image look a bit flat. The choice of the fur wig in this has made the image, I don't believe the same effect could have been achieved with the synthetic fibre wigs.

The only improvements that I would suggest would be to edit out the skin on the arm and the bright pale blue area near it. They both detract and don't seem to play a role in the composition. I think for your first try aoikihou, you should be very proud of this result!!!
